The Washington Post reported that 90 percent of home searches are conducted online. Buyers searching for homes in Brevard County are faced with a number of different real estate information sites to choose from and not all of them are created equal.

Sites like Zillow have gained household name recognition, but are the results they provide accurate and regularly updated? Buyers have spent valuable time researching listings on some sites only to inquire about properties and find that they are no longer on the market. Valuable time is wasted on these endeavors and people often feel let down when they find out the home they were hoping to walk through has already been sold.

The availability of homes is not the only thing that sites like Zillow can

The 4 Components of a Sale: Terms

Real estate sales are composed of four basic components. Homes are sold every day based on their locations, conditions, terms and prices. Some sales are made quickly with large profit margins, while other properties sit on the market much longer and sell for far less. Understanding each component of a real estate sale helps sellers make informed decisions on how to best position their listings in the current marketplace to attain favorable results.

The third component of a real estate sale is terms.

Negotiable terms help properties become more marketable overall. Sometimes buyers will ask for small items to be added to a closing contract, such as a washer and dryer. These are called buyer requests and can range from leaving a set of drapes

Shoppers passing The Avenue Viera can’t help but notice the construction on the other side of Lake Andrew Drive. The homes being built there are very attractive, which begs the question, what’s the new development’s name?

The development has more than a great location going for it. Upscale homes in Arrivas Village offer residents bonus rooms, balconies, verandas and private courtyards. There are two floor plans to choose from, the Castillo and the San Marco, and both feature lovely Spanish Colonial architecture.

A City on the Rise: Titusville's Economy is Rebounding

Llana Kowarski and Wayne T. Titus Landings is a prime example. The open-air mall has already secured a number of anchor stores and not a single beam has been nailed in place yet.

Many city residents believed that mold or funding issues led to the long delays. Some thought the project had been placed on hold indefinitely and worried that the unsightly construction site was there to stay.

3 DIY Home Staging Tips

A home can sell itself if it is given a proper chance. Making a few simple and affordable enhancements to properties can up the “wow” factor each time they are shown to potential buyers. Improvements don’t have to break the bank; in fact, sellers can stage their homes on DIY budgets.

Staging creates stylish and inviting spaces that buyers can envision as their own. The look is very close to that of hotel rooms. It’s not sterile, but at the same time it is not so distinctive that it feels lived in. The goal is to make buyers feel comfortable so that the showing doesn’t harken back to Little Red Riding Hood traipsing through the bears’ home while they were away.
